Luo Xiwen (Dec. 2, 1945 - ), male, Han nationality, a native of Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, is a member of the Communist Party of China and an expert in agricultural mechanisation engineering. After graduating from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a bachelor's degree in radio technology in 1970, he worked in the Agricultural Machinery Factory for nine years in Tongren County, Guizhou Province. In 1982, he obtained a master's degree in agricultural mechanisation from the South China Agricultural University and continued his study in the United States for two years in the late 1980s. At present, he is a professor of the South China Agricultural University, director of the Key Laboratory of Key Technologies of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment in South China, Ministry of Education, chairman of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery (CSAM) and honorary chairman of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering.
