Introduction: Zhao Chunjiang (Apr. 28, 1964 - ) is an expert on agricultural informationisation and a native of Baoding City, Hebei Province. He graduated from the Department of Agriculture, Beijing Agricultural University in 1993 with a doctorate degree in agriculture. He is currently the director and chief expert of the National Engineering Research Centre for Information Technology in Agriculture (NERCITA) of Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, chief expert of the National Engineering Technology Research Centre for Intelligent Agricultural Equipment, director of Comprehensive Key Laboratory of Agricultural Information Technology of Ministry of Agriculture, vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering, vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery (CSAM), director of the Intelligent Agriculture Specialty Committee of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and chief Chinese representative of the International Society of Precision Agriculture (ISPA). He once served as an expert in the field of modern agricultural technology in the National 863 Program.
