Introduction: Li Tianlai (Nov. 12, 1955 - ), is an expert in protected horticulture and a native of Suizhong County, Liaoning Province. He graduated from the Shenyang Agricultural University with a vegetable major in 1982, received his master’s degree from the Yamagata University in Japan in 1988, and gained his doctorate degree from the Shenyang Agricultural University in 1996. At present, he is the deputy vice chancellor and professor of the Shenyang Agricultural University, vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering and vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Horticultural Science.
