Forty Years of Development of Socialist Economics
For the 40th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution a collective work, "Soviet Socialist Economics, 1917-1957," was published. It was prepared by the Institute of Economics, USSR Academy of Sciences. This book brings together the experience of building a socialist economy. In it are analyzed the problems of development of the socialist economy at the present stage and the perspectives of its further development. In the articles included many different problems are discussed, covering all aspects of socialist reproduction. Readers of this collection of articles will find in it much of value and importance for the better scientific understanding of the vital problems of economic development of Soviet socialist society. In this book the great advantages of the socialist system, in comparison with that of capitalism, are set forth.

Forty Years of Development of Socialist Economics
