Abstract

From the alcoholic extract of bracken, Pteridium aquilinum, two flavonoid pigments, namely astragalin and isoquercitrin, were isolated in the form of yellowish needles, and further a small quantity of rutin and two unknown flavonoid pigments were detected on the paper chromatogram.
