The Egyptian Green Building Council (EgyptGBC) and the Regional Office for Arab States of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) are pleased to announce the 1st Arab Forum on Sustainable Communities and Green Building (AFSCGB ’14), which will held from 8 – 10 December 2014 at Cairo Conrad Hotel, Egypt. The 1st AFSCGB 2014 is organized under the patronage of His Excellency, the Prime Minister of Egypt. It is also held under the Chairmanship of the Minister of Housing and Urban Development (MoHUD), Government of Egypt and Chairman of the board of Egypt Green Building Council (EgyptGBC).
The 1st AFSCGB 2014 Steering Committee cordially invites you to participate in this key international and regional event advancing sustainable urbanization in the Arab World, focusing in its 1st session on the urban resilience and green building discourse. This forum is part of a series of events supported by UN-Habitat that contributes to the regional discussions in line with the dialogue on Sustainable Development Goals, the Post 2015 Development Agenda and the 3rd United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development in 2016 (Habitat III).
Who Should Attend
