Energy Efficiency Policies for the SEMED/Arab Region Workshop

15-16 April 2013, RCREEE in close co-ordination with International Energy Agency (IEA)and League of Arab States (LAS) with financial support from European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)organized” The Energy Efficiency Policies Dialogue Workshop for the SEMED/Arab Region”. The workshop was held in at the Crown Plaza in Amman Under the patronage of His Excellency Malek Kabariti, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jordan.  35 regional and international experts participated in the policy dialogue including representatives from 10 Arab States.  The participants contributed with updates on regional and national EE policies, and produced new sectoral EE policy recommendations fine-tuned to the SEMED-Arab region, building on the International Energy Agency (IEA) global 25 Energy Efficiency Policy Recommendations.
