Thurrock Council in the UK has announced the roll-out of full-fibre broadband network infrastructure across south Essex.
This GBP 4.4 million broadband network will be the first large-scale project by the Association of South Essex Local Authorities (ASELA) and will deliver connectivity to 129 sites across Basildon, Brentwood, Rochford, Thurrock and Castle point. Of these sites, 78 are in Thurrock. The network is expected to be completed by May 2021.
