Early on Monday morning March, 1st a weak tornado struck the Atlanta Suburb of Riverdale. Along with this tornado, strong winds NOT associated with the tornado felled a tree that unfortunately killed a man in Kenwood, GA.

An initial damage survey conducted by the National Weather Service out of Peachtree City, GA rated the tornado an EF-1 with maximum winds up to 90 mph.
