HARBIN, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- A China-Russia TV week has begun in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.

An opening ceremony was held Wednesday in Harbin, the provincial capital, with more than 90 delegates from the two countries in attendance.

During the event, talks about TV programs as well as program promotions will be held, in order to "create platforms for brand cooperation and build media communication mechanisms."

Outstanding TV programs of the two countries will be screened during the TV week.
