It's not a giant head in the sky, but Amazon is showing us what it's got.
Amazon's lineup of voice-activated digital assistants grew this week, with Amazon announcing it will release the Echo Show, a smart speaker with a touchscreen. The device will also have a camera, enabling you to video-chat with others.
Also on our extended podcast, we talk about our visit to the Army Cyber Institute, a new think tank where the military envisions what kind of cyberthreats the US will face in the near future. It gets very dystopian.
We hope you enjoy the extended podcast. It's just over 17 minutes. Be sure to come back Monday for more.
The 3:59 gives you bite-size news and analysis about the top stories of the day, brought to you by the CNET News team in New York and producer Bryan VanGelder.
Check out the extended shows on YouTube.
