On 16^th September 2023, the documentary film Ubuntu Overland: l’education par l’aventure (Ubuntu Overland: Education Through Adventure), produced by Arnaud and Perrine Delorme, has won the prize for the best Medium-Length Film at the Terres Festival! During this visually astounding and moving film, their family of four travel across Africa in a 4X4 and trailer for one year to discover diverse cultures and landscapes and engage in environmental projects. As Pathfinders of the initiative, the UNESCO Green Citizens projects they visited are featured in the film; Closing the Loop on Waste Plastics Through Heritage Boat Building (Kenya), Monavale Vlei Biodiversity Project (Zimbabwe), Ocean Guardians (Mozambique), WESSA Eco-Schools programme (South Africa), and NaDEET (Namibia).

Terres Festival is a festival that is dedicated to showing films focused on sustainable development and natural tourism from around the world. With Terres LAB, they aim to explore the most innovative tendencies in the audiovisual representation of the travelling experience. The festival takes place in Tortosa in the northeastern region of Terres de l’Ebre in Spain, 35% of which is made up of the Terres de l’Erbe UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
