2019年4月16日至4月26日,由联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心(IKCEST)和西安交通大学联合主办，IKCEST丝路培训基地承办的第51期丝路工程科技发展专项培训在西安交通大学举行，共有来自西安交通大学、西北工业大学、长安大学、西安电子科技大学的160余名留学生参加了培训，他们分别来自巴基斯坦、埃塞俄比亚、哈萨克斯坦等30余个“一带一路”沿线国家。

The 51st IKCEST Training Programme for Silk Road Engineering Science and Technology Development was held in Yanta Campus of Xi’an Jiaotong University from Apr. 16 to 26, 2019. It was co-hosted by the International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (IKCEST) under the Auspices of UNESCO and Xi’an Jiaotong University, and organized by IKCEST Silk Road Training Base.. About 160 foreign students from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Chang’an University and Xidian University participated this programme. They were from over 30 Belt-road countries, such as Pakistan, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, etc.

本次培训课程为期九天，由西安交大资深教授团队亲临授课，内容涵盖：大数据技术在电力系统中的应用研究、可再生能源与智能电网、HSK3级话题大纲讲义、简要介绍电力电子技术：优雅地驾驭电能的办法、微电网规划通用技术导则、配电网中的谐波电流滤除技术、中国古代哲学思想——儒学等内容。课上教师以授课为主，兼备师生互动为辅，同时开展线上线下交流互动。

The training programme lasted for 9 days, and the following lectures such as Big Data Technology and its Applications in Power System, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid, HSK Exam (Level-3) Topic Outlines, An Introduction to Power Electronics: The Way of Harnessing Electric Energy Elegantly, Guidelines for general planning and design of microgrids, Harmonic Current Filtering Technology in Distribution Grid and Ancient Chinese Philosophy—Confucianism were given by the experienced professors in Xi’an Jiaotong University. The teachers gave clear, vivid examples to make the topic deep-going but easy to understand. The attendees all benefited greatly and had enthusiastic after-class discussion about what they have learned in class.

除此之外,为契合电气专题，还安排了绝缘国家重点实验室或大电流开断实验室的参观访问。电器实验基地是“985计划”电气工程学科平台的重点项目，并得到“211工程”、国家重点实验室专项经费的支持，是国内外电器领域基础理论和应用研究的前沿阵地。参观期间实验室负责人姚晓飞老师为留学生耐心的讲解了实验室的大型设备，并与学生开展了热烈讨论。

In addition, to make the training more effective, a visit to State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Power Equipment was also included in the programme. As the key construction project of the “985 Plan” electrical engineering platform, the laboratory is supported by the “211 Project” and the special funds of the State Key Laboratory and was constructed to promote the development of the basic theory and application research in the field of electrical apparatus. During the visit, Lab Manager Dr. Yao introduced in detail to the foreign students the large-scale equipments of the laboratory and had a lively discussion with them.

目前，IKCEST丝路培训基地已举办51期“丝路工程科技发展专项培训”。此次培训，作为丝路培训基地一项重要工作，将在培养丝路人才，服务国家“一带一路”倡议方面发挥重要的作用，同时，也为西安交大倡导发起的丝路大学联盟等一系列工作探索发展道路，并推动文化、科技、教育交流，为丝路沿线和欧亚非地区经济社会发展做出重要贡献。

Till now, there have been 51 IKCEST Training Programmes for Silk Road Engineering Science and Technology Development. As an important mission of the IKCEST Silk Road Training Base, this training programme plays an important role in cultivating talents and promoting "the Belt and Road Initiative". Meanwhile, it is also exploring the development direction for projects initiated by XJTU, such as University Alliance of the New Silk Road etc. It also made important contributions to the economic and social development of European, Asian and African Belt-road countries and regions.

联合国教科文组织国际工程科技知识中心（简称“国际知识中心”、“IKCEST”）是联合国教科文组织下属二类中心，2014年6月在北京成立，依托中国工程院建设，旨在面向世界各国尤其是发展中国家的政策制定者、广大工程科技工作者提供咨询、科研、教育等知识服务。2017年2月，国际知识中心依托西安交通大学，设立“IKCEST丝路培训基地”，为一带一路沿线国家培养工程科技人才。

The International Knowledge Centre for Engineering Sciences and Technology (shortened as “IKCEST”) is a category II centre under the auspices of UNESCO. IKCEST was established on June 2, 2014. The Chinese Academy of Engineering is responsible for the operation and management of the IKCEST. IKCEST aims at providing knowledge-based services at a global scale in the form of consultation, scientific research and education for policy-makers and engineering science and technology professionals in the world, with particular reference to the developing countries. In February, 2017, based in Xi'an Jiaotong University, IKCEST Silk Road Training Base was established, which aims to train more engineering and technological talents for Belt-road countries.
