Monthly total precipitation monitoring data set for The Belt and Road(1989-2018)(“一带一路”月降水总量监测数据集(1989—2018))

Introduction: The data set is calculated and interpolated by weather station data. The meteorological site data comes from NOAA, which includes data such as temperature, wind speed, and precipitation. The research team processes the daily weather station data into monthly data, and then interpolates through Kriging to form raster data covering the entire study area.

Historical meteorological space mapping in the Belt and Road(“一带一路”地区历史气象空间制图)

Introduction: Meteorological disasters occur frequently in the Belt and Road region. 7 countries, in total of 10 most seriously meteorological disasters countries in the world, are in the belt and road region. It is of great significance for studying meteorological disaster events and reducing disaster risk to know the historical meteorological conditions and the spatial and temporal distribution rules of meteorological indexes such as temperature and precipitation of this region. This knowledge application is based on the integration, extraction and mapping of the WorldClim historical meteorological data, which reflects the three indicators of monthly maximum and minimum temperature and monthly total precipitation in One Belt and One Road region in January, April, July and October 2018. For users, it is of great significance to understand the basic meteorological law of the region and the service of meteorological disaster prevention.

The drought monitoring study based on remote sensing for the Silk Road Economic Belt(基于遥感的丝绸之路经济带干旱监测研究)

Introduction: The Silk Road Economic Belt area is considered to be one of the typical ecologically fragile areas. In recent years, with global climate change, surface vegetation, ecosystems, water environment, growth of animals and plants have been affected to some extent. And the feedback effect of global climate change in the region is also obvious. Many researchers have paid attention to this and conducted a lot of research. With the development of remote sensing technology, regional drought monitoring research has been carried out. This has important guiding significance for changes in regional ecosystems, soil environment and surface vegetation. This research will focus on regional drought remote sensing monitoring methods that has been carried out in the Silk Road Economic Belt area.
