UNESCO Dakar office, which oversees The Gambia, seeks to conduct training of young community leaders on MIL to enhance their capacity to critically assess and use media, including social media. The training is part of UNESCO’s Multi Donor Programme (MDP) on Freedom of Expression and Safety of Journalists project.
The objective is to build the capacity of young people with MIL skills so they can engage ethically with information and media to enhance their capacity to critically assess and use media, including social media.
Within the framework of this Request for Proposals, the UNESCO Dakar office seeks to contract with an organization capable of:
- Training young community leaders on MIL
The desired entity must be based in The Gambia and shall demonstrate at least 3 years of experience working with youth organisations, and past experience doing training on MIL.
