Connected car and transportation analytics company Inrix has released an artificial intelligence (AI) traffic solution that aims to provide instantaneous updates on traffic conditions.
Inrix claims AI Traffic leverages AI to deliver the most precise and actionable traffic information to date including pinpointing traffic speeds in different lanes to deliver the most accurate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) on every road.

4.covers all roads: AI Traffic has the ability to calculate speeds for every road in the world, from interstates to intersections, country roads to neighbourhoods.

AI Traffic is powered by a new geospatial engine that uses deep learning to provide increasingly better and more accurate traffic analytics. Inrix said the engine was trained on trillions of data points collected over a decade, including from connected cars, mobile phones, weather, historical traffic and incidents.
According to Inrix, the solution can identify traffic conditions with an amazing level of precision for every type of complex situation. Its new processing engine also reduces latency, which means it can ingest, process and output data faster than ever before.
